New Jersey State Fair @ Sussex County Fairgrounds
2025-2026 GSCRL Season Championship
August 1st, 2026
37 Plains Rd, Augusta, NJ
Combat robotics in New Jersey. Built, driven, and broken by the people who show up.
The 2026-2027 season is underway. Our next event is Clash at the Commons on December 12th at Bridgewater Commons Mall. Additional events will be posted on Robot Combat Events (RCE) as dates and venues are confirmed.
Rules and build recommendations are shaped by the people who build and compete. Have a proposal, a rule that needs clarifying, a safety procedure worth tightening, or a build guideline that would help new competitors get in the arena? Send it our way.
That's a wrap on 2025-2026. Eight events, hundreds of matches, and a whole lot of broken parts later, the season closed out at the New Jersey State Fair on August 1st.
Thank you to every builder who put a bot in the box, every volunteer who ran the floor and kept the stream going, every venue that hosted us, and every sponsor who made it possible. None of this happens without you.
Congratulations to our champions, and to everyone who made the podium.

The Garden State Combat Robotics League (GSCRL) envisions a future where we reign as the unrivaled epicenter for ant-weight and plastic ant-weight combat robotics, igniting boundless creativity and learning in anyone with an interest, no matter their skill or background. We are building a vibrant, inclusive community where the educational power of robotics fuels individual innovation through hands-on robot design. We are planning to unleash your creations in 11 exhilarating annual events, including several multi-day spectacles and a grand championship at the NJ State Fair, featuring ant-weight, plastic-ant-weight, and beetle competitions. Our Beetle events provide a welcoming robot proving ground that hones competitors’ skills and provides a proven launchpad for success with Beetle and even more powerful robots at NHRL. As a nonprofit, we dedicate our resources to advancing robotics education, forging a tight-knit community that cheers every participant, redefines the sport with bold creations, and inspires a new generation to shape the future of robotics.
